Lyndy Berardi, Primary Therapist

Sometimes the hardest step is first  reaching out—I'm glad you're here. You want to make steps in the right direction but unsure of where to start. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Many of my clients are managing the effects of chronic stress, low self-esteem, or a history of complex trauma. I also work with individuals experiencing burnout, codependency, or struggling to set healthy boundaries in their personal or professional lives. Whether you’ve tried therapy before, have a long relationship with therapy services, or are new to the idea of attending a session, I welcome clients from all backgrounds and encourage those I work with to have patience and grace for themselves as we typically try to provide to others before providing it to ourselves.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), with a directive and goal-oriented style. Prior to joining Schell Therapy, I specialized in clients facing substance use disorders in addition to clients facing mental health concerns. This is where I truly came to appreciate how our actions and behaviors impact the thoughts, views and esteem we have for others and ourselves. I work best with individuals who are seeking a therapist who is active in the room, offering structure, feedback, and practical tools to help navigate current challenges while balancing the emotional and mental toll our experiences have on us. Together, we will identify actionable steps toward achieving your goals—whether they are personal, professional, physical, or emotional. No matter what form, I seek to help you deepen self-awareness and foster compassion toward the various parts of yourself in all the roles you take on in daily life.

I maintain a collaborative team mentality with my clients. I view therapy as a partnership—one where we combine your lived experience and goals with my clinical tools and insight to create meaningful, lasting change. My style is warm, directive, and nonjudgmental, providing the support and structure needed to foster insight, resilience, and empowered decision-making.

If you're looking for a therapist who will actively support you in achieving clarity, building skills, and making progress toward your personal and professional goals, I would be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
