Christine (Chrissy) Carpenter CRNP, PMHNP-BC
Christine Carpenter, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner licensed in Pennsylvania. She began her career in emergency room and trauma nursing before transitioning to psychiatry. Christine earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Misericordia University. In 2016, she completed her Master’s in Nursing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Drexel University.
Christine’s diverse nursing experience includes roles such as Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), triage nurse, trauma bay nurse, and charge nurse. She began practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in 2017 at the Crisis Response Center at Pennsylvania Hospital and Drexel University’s Caring Together program, which supports women dealing with addiction and mental health disorders. Most recently, she provided care for adult, child, and adolescent mental health partial hospitalization programs at The Light Program/High Focus treatment centers.
Christine takes a holistic approach to care, creating personalized treatment plans for clients ranging from children aged 6 to adults. Beyond medication management, she is committed to utilizing a variety of tools to help clients improve their overall well-being. She believes in a collaborative, partnership-based relationship between provider and client, working together to craft and implement a path toward happy and healthy living.
